I have declared to shoot anyone who asks me how my CNY was. I pretty much spent the first day of CNY lounging around, doing my work at home. First time I felt and was so efficient, puh-lease.
Since I was such a good girl on chu yi, I decided to let loose and be a naughty girl on chu er! :D
Went out with a school friend around noon and we covered almost the entire part of town LOL. It was pretty nice to do that , since there were so few people outside. But some shops still weren’t open . Boo. But! We managed to have fun by going to Orchard Central’s rooftop and just chillin.
Sooooo. I went to meet gan ma in the evening at Clarke Quay! Cos I wanted to drown my sorrows in alcohol go drinking. Walked around for a bit at the whole area of restaurants/bars to decide where to go.
gan ma gave me a purple packet! :D to cheer me up hehehe.

My face was…..expressionless cos I was a little tired from walking an entire day and my shoes were hurting a little. Heheh. We originally wanted to go to…..Attica/ Arena? But I suppose they weren’t open yet. Or maybe we didn’t look properly (huh gan ma?) O.o
Soooooo in the end, I wanted to try out The Highlander Bar, where gan ma had been before. Okay, so it was ‘try new things’ for me, but not her. Lol.
We switched places from the given table to sitting at the bar, cos there were 2 annoying Hokkien speaking uncles behind us who were spoiling the ….ambience.
LOL. Talk about misfits.
Ordered drinks / snacks ! gan ma had Long Island Tea, while I had……errr….(I am scrunching my brain real hard now) errrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I liked my drink :D Dunno why, but I feel like I can trust my judgement when it comes to drink choices. I hope this kinda good judgement exists when I’m picking guys. Ahem.
Only pity that I can’t use my drink instinct on my friends, cos most of them don’t share my taste for stronger drinks :/

They had awesome voices! Le sighhhh. But! A band took over after them, and I liked it more cos I’m more “move to the music” than chilling type of music. Hehehehe.

Gan ma told the bartender I preferred stronger stuff LOL. So he made it stronger for me HAHAHHAHAHA. I decide that I like him just for that fact. *thumbs up sign*
Mmhmmm we were moving to the music and I liked the live band a lot. :D I have this weird, unexplainable love for live bands, especially good ones. Okay. I sound mad here.
Took a lot of photos with my itouch! We got quite a few free drinks, like, 4 for gan ma and 3 for me. And the bartenders/ manager(?) chatted with us for awhile As usual, I got REALLLLY red after my 2nd glass, and the bartender asked me 2 times if I was okay. Fine, I’ve a tendency to look more drunk than I actually am. PFT. this is so sad .
A black guy sitting opposite us gestured to offer buying us drinks when the bartender asked us if we wanted anymore HAHAHAHHAHA. But I nicely smiled and declined. I think we were on the verge of being gone anyway. (I think gan ma was more gone than I was here LOL)
We were a little tipsy/sway-ish after that and I couldn’t imagine the ride of shame home on the MRT with my face so red! So I cabbed home, and gan ma cabbed to Powerhouse. I was outside for 12 hours straight O:
Oh after I reached home I became even more sober, and fell asleep until 3am where I tossed and slept fitfully till 7plus.zzzz. the stupid effects of alcohol.
sidenote: after talking to gan ma on msn just now it has HIT me that i do abuse my liver more than others. zzzz. at least i can't find anyone else among my friends who has been drinking as much as i have.
oh, the harsh reality of it. if i manage to find someone on drinking par with me i'll go pop fireworks. in the meantime.....
