Bits and pieces of thoughts

I find that when I look at grandfathers carrying their grandchildren it’s so…endearing. Then this big yearning to have a chance to meet my grandfather comes back.It feels like I’m so similar to him in some ways, and my dad’s told me that too.

He was left handed, loved brandy, loved eating, was picky about his food, had a quick temper, and swore a lot. Hmmmm.

I had free extra cheese for my Subway sandwich today, cos the sandwich artist trickily asked me: “so it’s extra cheese for your sandwich? “and I cheekily said: “only if it’s free!” to which the man in front of me turned around and said: “nothing’s ever free,haha!”

And so the sandwich artist gave me a wink and said, “ free extra cheese for this lady here!” HAHHAHAHA. *thumbs up* Sometimes in life you just have to be a little more thick skinned. :D

My mum gave me 30 bucks and told me to go buy a nice birthday cake. 1^st thought was: huh, what kind of nice cake can I buy with 30bucks -.-

(okay. Don’t shoot me for being a snob yettttttt)

Then 2^nd thought was: okay. I’m thankful I have people I love around me,

a mum who remembers my birthday, I’ll make do and top up my own money if it isn’t enough for my choice of cake.

See?! I’m more mature nowwwwwwwww. Sometimes.

Sometimes, the things I do or say scare even myself. Really.

Recently a guy friend told me: “You know, I just get a “hardcore party” feeling from you. And guys are somewhat scared by this kind of girls, cos they can be quite scary. “

To which I retorted “ But I don’t club often . So you can’t say I’m a hardcore party-goer.”

“Yeah, but you drink like a fish. Which is .scary.No? My friend says it's intimidating for a girl to do that. “
