I’ve been a very good girl this month, going out occasionally to catch up with friends, not drinking for a month and going on strong.
Hi. My name is Joanne, and I’ve stopped drinking for a month. LOL. Like some rehab group session.
Anyhoo, I recently heard something interesting from a friend : our 24 hours are made up of 8hours sleep, 8 hours play and 8 hours work. I was like. O.O I never thought of it this way!!!
… Okay maybe I’m just slow. Have any of you ever thought that way?!
Man, work’s really no joke. I just feel like sitting down doing anything that doesn’t require any brain activity after I reach home everyday. Of course, I’d always have energy for going out. Ahem. It’s a whole ‘nother thing hehe.
Life , wai you sho tuff?
Anyhoo, i brought my mum to Wild Honey today! I dunno why it was so filling for the both of us . *groans* It was good, nonetheless. :D
My English Breakfast! super hearty. REAAALLY full after that. I didn't finish a bit of bread/ bacon in the end. but i loved every bit of this set.
the eggs were so soft and buttery (?) and the bread was toasted just nice, and the baked beans were savoury and the potatoes were nicely flavoured *gushes. i think i've liked my 2 experiences so far.
My mum's I Love N.Y. breakfast! i <3 the cream cheese to go with the bagel. yum.
There was this group of Asian americans siting at the table next to us, and this girl was talking especially loudly in the "I'm trying to show off my accent to whole world" way.
BUT. i think the whole group of them (guys and girls) were hot soooo. all's fair.
Maybe it's my own bias, but i think that asians raised in Western countries tend to be ....more....good looking . hur. prove me wrong.
Oh and something interesting happened last week:
I dropped my phone at Clarke Quay station on my way to work. ( i know. grr. ) Everything went flying in different directions. By everything i meant phone cover, battery, SIM card. pft. I was like "HOLY SHITTTTTTT (1. my phone's dismantled againnnn. 2. SO embarassingggg") and started bending down, picking up my cover/ battery.
Then i was trying to look for my SIM card subtly . LOL. i know i know, not very good attempt.
Then someone came and asked: uhh. do you need help ? are you looking for something? and i was like: yeah, i'm looking for my SIM card actually! So he went bending down, knees and all looking for it. It was under a seat -.-
I treated the person to coffee to thank him since i had time before starting work.
I'm a nice person okay HAHAHHA. So we sorta talked just a while "where d'you work, what as blahblahblah" all that shizz until it was time for us to go for work.
He said: "So do you wanna exchange numbers? we could come out for lunch or something one day, since we work near each other."
and i went: "uhhh yeah. I don't mind but. you wouldn't be able to call me, since i dropped my phone just now! dunno if it's working hahah!"
Pretty fascinating encounter aye. ^^
