Of random catching up with an old friend over a phonecall.
Sooooo i got a random phonecall from Lam Wingyan today ^^ and we started talking, just like the old times. Of boys, parents, havoc in the household, work/school, blahblah yaddayadda, in no neccessary order.
We talked about each other's lives, her's being more happening than mine ( I think, or maybe we're on par, just on different levels)
I ranted a little about my current situation, ...
"Is he your first?"
"...Yeah. "
"Oh...Just remember not to let him climb over your head la, okay? Spit out whatever dissatisfaction you have with him"
"I'll try, but most of the time i just swallow it until it gets a bit unbearable."
"take 1 step at a time lor. Are you happy?"
*stumped silence
"Honestly? I dunno. But i'm mostly never happy now, so ...his presence doesnt really make a difference to my happiness right now."
